Slotegrator Managing Director Yana Khaidukova, explains why iGB Live is so important to the brand, confirms the power of personal contact and the relationship between volatility and opportunity

 

What are your expectations for July’s iGB Live and what does success look like?

iGB is one of the most important gaming events in our calendar. We look forward to taking part in it every year, and it’s a great success each time. This year, like always, we expect to make new connections, catch up with partners and clients and see what new products are on the market. We look forward to meeting everyone, showcasing our new products, and doing lots of networking. Success will look like an overcrowded Slotegrator stand. See you at m40!

An independent survey placed iGB Live 2021 among the top 2% of international b2b events – how would you describe the show’s qualities and where does IGB Live rank in the league table of events ?

It’s a high-quality event, it’s very well-organized, the people and companies participating are very cool, everyone has interesting insights to share — so I’m not surprised at all to hear it’s in the top 2%. iGB is one of the industry’s biggest shows, and it gathers together so many gambling companies and professionals, so for sure it’s right at the top of our list of favourite events.

What are the major challenges and the big opportunities facing the sector?

Gambling is an extremely fast-changing industry, so one of the main challenges is to learn how to adapt to all of the changes as fast as possible, create highly adaptable and customizeable products, and build flexible teams. But with high volatility always come big opportunities!

Where are you targeting?

We’re still targeting Eastern Europe, but of course we’re also focused on Africa, Asia, and Western Europe, and especially LatAm. Our new platform is fully optimized for all of these markets with games that these audiences love and the payment methods they prefer.

Did the sector miss in-person events, and how has their return helped your business?

At Slotegrator, we believe in the power of personal contact, offline networking, and face-to-face meetings, so it was a great pleasure to be able to participate in iGB last year. People missed offline events for sure.
