Yggdrasil has been granted a B2B software licence by the Isle of Man Supervision Commission, securing the game developer’s presence across several existing markets.
Already licensed in the UK, Malta, Gibraltar and Romania, the Swedish supplier cited its strict observance of regulatory compliance as key to its ongoing expansion.
“Ever since we began the business, we have been highly regulated and highly compliant in every major gaming jurisdiction,” said CEO Fredrik Elmqvist.
“We take great pride in adhering to regulatory best practice and place great emphasis on compliance and responsible gaming across all our products. We’re delighted to add the Isle of Man to this prestigious regulatory roster, our eighth B2B licence, and I’m sure many more will follow in the years to come.”
The company holds a B2B Critical Supply Licence in Malta, Remote Casino (B2B), Gambling Software and Remote Casino licences from the UK Gambling Commission, a B2B Remote Gambling licence in Gibraltar, and two Class II licences awarded by the ONJN.
“Yggdrasil is committed to fulfilling the licensing requirements and objectives of its licensing jurisdictions and always strives to spearhead industry best practices,” said a statement from the firm following the latest approval. “Since being founded in 2013 the company has implemented policies and procedures to ensure all players are protected and treated fairly.”
“Yggdrasil’s Information Security Management System is audited on an annual basis by independent auditors in order to ensure data is safeguarded and classified in accordance with its policies and procedures.”
