Betradar’s product development manager betting, Ales Kecman speaks to iGaming Times about the most important components for a successful Numbers Betting solution.

iGAMING TIMES: How long has Betradar’s Numbers Betting solution been around and how has it evolved?
ALES KECMAN: Betradar’s Numbers Betting solution was launched in 2015. Our aim was to create a comprehensive lotteries betting service enabling clients to access our data from the one fast, well-structured data source, while allowing players to bet on fixed-odds outcomes for numerous lotteries around the world.
ALES KECMANWe knew that offering only traditional betting on lottery numbers wouldn’t do the trick – we needed to create something different and unique – and creating a sports-like lottery betting experience with main and side-bet markets was the key to creating a valuable betting proposition.
We evaluated existing lotteries data feeds on the market but realised they didn’t meet our accuracy, reliability, speed or coverage requirements. As such, we decided to develop our own solution in- house, established a dedicated operations team and developed our own data collection and production systems.
Our Numbers Betting service began as a retail offering, backed by a data feed providing fixtures, odds suggestions for various mar- kets and results. Over the last few years, we continued to enhance our coverage, introducing new features and betting markets, and our processes to guarantee the highest data quality, integrity and security.
This year our Numbers Betting has been integrated into our state- of-the-art Unified Odds Feed, enabling clients to integrate it easier and faster, leveraging more solutions for online and mobile.
We now have the most comprehensive lotteries betting solution on the market, available for online and retail operators and platform providers. It offers punters 24/7 fixed odds betting on numerous markets and outcomes, with upwards of 37,000 draws per month from over 70 countries worldwide. It features retail visualisation stream from over 160 global lotteries with over 110 real drum-based lotteries and more than 50 RNG-based lotteries, including seven rapid lotteries with fast and frequent betting draws throughout the day.
The tremendous growth in our Numbers Betting service subscriptions indicate we’re heading in the right direction.
iGT: Betradar has recently enhanced their Numbers Betting offering – why and what does this include?
AK: We have recently partnered with Bitville Gaming and LOT.TO to enhance our Numbers Betting service, mainly in the online space.
Bitville Gaming’s online widget-based solution makes it fully responsive and highly customisable, allowing clients to create truly unique and competitive offer- ing to maximise their profit mar- gins.
LOT.TO’s online solution offers simple play pages and gamification features and combines the best elements of lottery, sports betting and casino in the one single package.
They both allow for a globally adaptable solution, with multi-currency, multi-lingual, localised time- zone features and more.
iGT: What are the key components of a good Numbers Betting offering?
AK: I think there are three main elements that make up a good Numbers Betting offering, and that is the data, entertainment-factor and the technology.
In terms of the data you want it to be high quality, reliable and fast and you need to ensure comprehensive lotteries coverage from across the world. These are just some of the reasons we’re so proud of the solution we have developed. Its foundation is based on Betradar’s wide-ranging sports data and betting knowledge.
Providing players with entertainment options on what they can bet on makes for a better offering. Additionally, gamification and bet- ting stimulation creates a more engaging and compelling experience and, in this technological age, that’s what people want.
