Caesars Entertainment has celebrated the launch of The Book at its LINQ Hotel and Casino, a 11,000 sq ft venue designed to “represent the next evolution of sportsbook.”
The Las Vegas property, featuring 220 seats and 87 LED monitors, will aim to position sports betting as an entertainment vertical for US customers, showcasing the social aspect of sportsbook wagering.
“Caesars Entertainment has made significant investments in our gaming and entertainment offerings,” said CEO Mark Frissora, “maximizing opportunities afforded by new sports betting legislation, and redefining the future of gaming.”
Marketed as the “most technologically advanced venue” on The Strip, The Book features gamified drink coasters and self-service beer walls alongside its immersive sports betting offering.
The new venture forms part of Frissora’s drive to target a younger casino audience through innovative techniques and technology concepts, stating in May that “millennials expect more from us, and we are delivering.”
