Bet UK, shirt sponsors of Swansea City AFC and principle betting partner, have announced that as part of their commitment to Responsible Gambling week they’re going to replace the Bet UK logo on the Swansea shirt with the Responsible Gambling Week logo for the game against Rotherham.
Responsible Gambling week kicks off 1st – 7th November 2018. The idea is to raise awareness around the behaviours linked to problem gambling. All sectors of the industry will club together to educate staff, customers and the wider public about the issue. The theme of the event is ‘Let’s Talk About Responsible Gambling’.
Bet UK will auction off the special edition shirts with all the proceeds going to the Gordon Moody Association. This is a unique and intensive residential treatment programme in the UK for addicted gamblers.
Bet UK has taken an epic step forward to integrate the right measures for responsible gambling. “As part of the LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group we are committed to ensuring customers enjoy a safe and enjoyable online gaming experience,” said Bet UK representative, Mark Good.
He added: “The 24/7 Responsible Gambling team at Bet UK are trained in collaboration with EPIC Risk Management and support organisations such as the Gordon Moody Association. They are available to listen, support and advise customers. This training, along with the utilisation of the latest predictive analytics and data science tools and methodologies, enables our Responsible Gambling team to recognise potential indicators of problem gambling and then proactively interact with customers to ensure that they are staying in control.”
Bet UK is passionate about bringing customers the best sports betting journey, from the sign-up process and beyond, and responsible gambling is a huge part of the success. Bet UK receives frequent feedback from customers that this level of care and support has not been received anywhere else and ‘how much they appreciate and value the security of knowing they are in a safer gambling environment.’
Bet UK will continue to strengthen responsible gambling measures and push industry standards forward using innovative technologies.
