Sports betting exchange Betdaq has launched Streaming API, providing instant pricing for commercial partners.

The software replaces the need for manual data requests with a tailored selection of updates on price movements and available volumes.

“Streaming API ensures further efficiencies as well as a greater reduction in overheads and resource requirements for our sportsbook partners,” said commercial manager Alan Casey.

Having utilised Streaming API push technology on the Betdaq website since 2016, a full connection to the Commercial API feed will now allow sportsbook operators automated risk management and hedging, with the platform processes 18 billion orders annually.

Commercial partners can also benefit from a growing liquidity programme, boosted by the exchange’s integration of a two percent commission structure.

“The successful introduction of two percent commission has been responsible for a marked uplift in trading volumes that has resulted in improved prices and ever-increasing liquidity levels,” added Casey.
