EveryMatrix has expanded its presence in Malta, relocating its commercial, legal and compliance teams to the Mediterranean archipelago.
Led by CCO Ian Freeman, who joined the gaming technology and platform provider earlier this year, the expansion marks seven years since EveryMatrix opened its first office in the country.
“The new Malta office opening was a natural step in our business growth strategy,” said CEO Ebbe Groes.
“In addition to our development and operation offices and over 400 staff across the world, Malta supports the company’s growth strategy after the re-launch of our flagship product, Casino Engine Integration Platform.”
The move is expected to facilitate access to “human resources requirements and the need for a more complex and structured commercial team,” following the re-release of CEIP.
Expanding its presence in Malta will also allow for increased investment in surrounding regulated markets, as well as bringing the company closer to Maltese operators and gaming professionals such as Tipico.
“We have been quite busy recreating our software platform, using advanced technologies with the purpose to deliver answers to our clients’ challenges, improve scalability and offer an overall improved experience,” said Groes.
“But technology is nothing if we do not find the right commercial context for our products, henceforth expanding our Malta office was the logical decision at the present times.”
With headquarters in London, as well as a main development office in Bucharest, and an existing Malta office, the centralisation of EveryMatrix’s commercial arm will provide a focus for global expansion going forward.
“Establishing our main commercial office in Malta will raise the bar and will work towards the goal of connecting different commercial teams,” added Groes.
“We are confident that this expansion will increase our ability to better serve many of our existing clients, while giving us the opportunity to develop further business relationships.”
