With sports betting set for significant expansion in North America, Betting on Sports will this year welcome the largest number of exhibitors in its history, leveraging the innovations in data management and payment technology as further tools for growth.
Olympia London will this year play host to the largest ever Betting on Sports exhibition, welcoming 150 sports betting operators, platform providers, affiliates and payment firms.
The event, which will take place from 18 to 21 September, will see over 6,300 sq m of exhibition space across two floors dedicated to 140 exhibitors, as well as eight exclusive networking areas.
“Boscon 2018 is an excellent opportunity to come together with the global gaming community,” said Sergey Harutyunyan, CBO at exhibitor BetConstruct.
“Joining the exhibition alongside the conference we are looking forward to talking sports and betting with peers, and sharing insights on challenges of the global industry.”
Operators such as Pinnacle and Betway will be joined by platform providers OPTIMA, SG Digital, Bit8, BetConstruct, SBTech, Kambi, FSB, GiG, Digitain and Sporting Solutions, as well as virtual sports firms Kiron, VSoftCo and Golden Race.
Alongside sport betting, the exhibition will also focus on development in payment technology, an industry which enables the continued growth of the sports betting sector.
“From a payment provider point of view, getting to such events is the best way to keep up with one of the most dynamic and fast growing industries – sports,” said Renaud Baudry, marketing manager for igaming at payment provider HiPay.
“The Betting on Sports agenda presents a unique opportunity to set up meetings with the industry’s leaders, share moments during networking events and learn from the high quality conferences.”
HiPay will also be joined by payment specialists Wirecard and Ecommpay, as well as Trustly, which recently launched its Pay N Play in-banner betting product, which significantly reduces abandonment rates during player registration.
“Trustly has been exhibiting at the Betting on Sports event for a number of years and seen first hand how it has continued to expand and improve year on year with high quality exhibitors, delegates and networking opportunities,” said director of gaming Sam Barrett.
“We are looking forward to the Betting on Sports Week this September and the opportunity to talk to old and new clients.”
As well as celebrating the contribution of payment technology innovation to the growth of sports betting, Betting on Sports will also showcase the importance of engaging digital content and sports data leverage through exhibition stands hosted by Catena Media, Perform Group, Sportradar and the Press Association.
Primarily, however, the conference and exhibition will provide an opportunity for operators to demonstrate the latest in sports betting technology, with Harutyunyan adding BetConstruct will “showcase the enhanced versions of our White Label Sportsbook and Virtual Sports Software, as well as reveal more about Spring BME.”
With sports betting opportunities opening in multiple new markets across the globe, Betting on Sports should provide the perfect hub for operators and platform providers alike to discuss the positive future for the industry.
