SBTech’s mobile-first sportsbook MoPlay has secured two premier league sponsorship deals, with high-ranking clubs Manchester United and Watford.
The platform, launched by SBTech in June of this year, will act as content partner for Manchester as well as branding both Watford’s home and away shirts.
“Engaging in such a high-profile partnership so soon after our inception truly puts our exciting new brand on the map,” said MoPlay CEO Juergen Reutter.
“Our objectives are fully aligned in terms of global expansion and offering enhanced experiences for a new generation of fans.”
Moplay focuses on live, in-play betting opportunities, tailored specifically toward the mobile gaming experience across sports, casino and games.
In its partnership with Manchester United, the sportsbook will develop exclusive collaborative gaming content for the club, as well as establish co-branded activations internationally.
“MoPlay are an innovative and dynamic company,” said Manchester United MD Richard Arnold. “We are delighted to be part of this journey.”
The Watford collaboration will focus on brand visibility, with MoPlay’s logo printed on the sleeve of the team’s home shirt, and its app icon on the sleeve of the away shirt.
“MoPlay matches our ethos by looking to disrupt the betting industry by offering its customers a more engaging and enjoyable experience,” said Watford commercial director Spencer Field.
