Marbral Advisory has become the newest member of the Jersey eGaming Group.

The industry-led group was set up in 2015 to promote Jersey, Channel Islands as an eGaming centre and represent companies which provide services to this sector.

Jersey has a strong and digitally enabled economy which is attractive to iGaming companies looking for a base close to the UK and Europe. The island also offers a robust legal framework, competitive licence costs, attractive tax benefits, an excellent IT infrastructure and a superb quality of life. This makes the island a compelling location for establishing a new eGaming business, or moving an existing operation from another jurisdiction.

Marbral Advisory specialises in digital, people, organisational, and regulatory change. It is uniquely placed in the island to support an eGaming company wishing to set up, relocate or work across multiple jurisdictions, as the company understands the technological, regulatory, and operational drivers affecting the e-gaming industry plus, has experience in supporting the implementation of innovative solutions for payment systems, mobile technology, disruptive technology, GDPR, AML and data management.

Marcus Pallot, partner Carey Olsen and spokesperson for Jersey eGaming commented on its newest member: “Jersey has a long established robust regulatory framework that underpins all of the island’s success as an offshore financial services centre.  This regulatory focus has been transferred over to our eGaming proposition and now we are seeing more companies seeking a licence here. We are delighted that more local service providers are joining the Jersey eGaming Group to support those licensees. We are pleased to welcome our first new member of 2018, Marbral Advisory.”

Alexsis Wintour, founder and CEO for Europe commented on joining the group: “I am delighted Marbral Advisory has been welcomed by the Jersey eGaming group and joins other leading companies with expertise in this industry.” She added “This is an important and growing sector for the development of a diversified digital economy in the island. We have seen how this industry has benefitted economies in other international financial centres with well-known e-gaming hubs such as Alderney (Bailiwick of Guernsey), Isle of Man, Malta, and the UK.”

Marbral Advisory also forms part of the Jersey eGaming delegation supported by the Jersey Gambling Commission and Locate Jersey at the ICE Totally Gaming convention in London held at ExCel London from 6 – 8 February 2018, where the group will be exhibiting at stand N8-249.
