Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has been authorised by PAGCOR to test and certify online gaming systems operated overseas.
Operators that hold a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) licence are subject to the rules of the Philippines’ national regulator, PAGCOR.
The agreement will see the products of these operators tested by GLI Australia, which leads GLI’s Asia-Pacific operations.
Phil Harrison, GLI Australia’s senior manager of regulation, compliance and quality assurance, said, “We are honored to be accredited by PAGCOR to test and certify POGO online gaming systems. PAGCOR is the Philippines’ national gaming regulator and, with the establishment of the POGO jurisdiction, regulates the largest number of online gaming operators in the APAC region.”
“GLI is committed to the APAC region and will further that engagement through PAGCOR’s accreditation as an independent tester at its Adelaide, Sydney and Macau test facilities,” he continued.
“We are delighted to provide PAGCOR’s license holders with the highest quality and most effective services to the industry.”
It it expected that the accreditation will open the door for GLI’s clients to obtain access to an expanding market within a new jurisdiction.
GLI Australia is already authorised to provide independent testing and professional services to all Australian states and territories including the Philippines, Macau, Singapore and other APAC gaming jurisdictions.
