Already a betting partner of four Bundesliga 2 clubs – St. Pauli, Union Berlin, Eintracht Braunschweig, Dynamo Dresden – the leading online bookmaker is extending its involvement in the country by tying up a deal with four-time Bundesliga champions Werder.
The new agreement is part of Betway’s commitment to driving brand awareness with major football teams on the continent, as well as its high-profile status in the UK, where it has been the principal sponsor of West Ham United since 2015.
In September 2016, Betway also announced a deal to become the official betting partner of Belgian champions RSC Anderlecht and the Croky Cup.
