Virtual gaming outfit, Kiron Interactive, celebrates a seminal deal with central Asian operator Digitain.
[dropcap]S[/dropcap]pecialist virtual games developer, Kiron Interactive, has begun to establish its presence in the Eastern European and Central Asian markets by forming a distribution partnership with Armenia’s Digitain.
Kiron currently has 15 virtual games in their portfolio, including virtual football, horse racing, greyhound racing, basketball, cycling and motor racing. All of them will be made available on all of Digitain’s platforms across multiple channels, including retail and online.
Digitain chief executive, Suren Khachatryan, said: “Kiron’s virtual games are very popular, and we’re very pleased to be able to offer them to clients as a complementary product to our sportsbook and casino.
“The partnership gives us another string to our bow and provides our operator partners with new and engaging content as they look to acquire and retain customers.”
Steven Spartinos, co-chief executive officer of Kiron Interactive, feels that this collaboration with Digitain indicates a growing interest in virtual games amongst operators and players in emerging markets around the world.
He said: “We’re delighted to have struck a deal with Digitain, whose innovative approach will help us reach new audiences in new territories. It is exciting that Digitain will be introducing us to their clients in countries where we’ve not previously had a presence.”
There was more good news in store for Kiron this past month, as they were also awarded a combined remote operating licence by the UK Gambling Commission in early November. This licence allows Kiron to provide a fixed odds betting service on their online virtual sports and games.
Spartinos was excited about what the licence could mean for the future of Kiron. “We’re always looking to stay a step ahead and we hope this provides potential customers with another positive reason to choose Kiron as their supplier,” said the co-CEO. “Having worked closely with the Gambling Commission throughout the application process, the licence represents a big step forward for everybody involved with Kiron Interactive.”
The combined remote operating licence also allows Kiron to offer their innovative Betting Online RGS system on a fully-managed and hosted-basis to UK operators, which integrates smoothly into their player wallet systems.
