The software and solutions provider Tain has enhanced its sportsbook through key expansion of markets and will announce the next major addition at ICE 2017.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]ain, the Malta-based provider, is set to expand its sportsbook service to roughly 23,000 live events from 6,800 competitions every month.

The company has made major expansions into new markets and will provide an additional 5,000 live events per month across 50 sports including curling, biathlon and water polo.

Tain’s sportsbook additions also cover traditional verticals such as football, tennis and US sports and the latest expansion follows the company’s acquisition by XIN Gaming in July.

Mathias Larsson, Managing Director at Tain, said: “Tain’s sportsbook is one of the industry’s most established, dating back to 2009.

Now with the addition of another 5,000 live events per month I can proudly say that we are a strong competitor in the market.

“The foundation has always been there to offer operators a fully managed sportsbook and a very good margin. What has been missing within the sportsbook is the ‘extras.’ Since the takeover we have already added a number of bonus features such as ‘cash out,’ that in itself is a very strong feature. Now with the addition of another 5,000 live events per month I can proudly say that we are a strong competitor in the market.”

Larsson added that Tain is set to reveal further enhancements to its sports offering at the ICE Totally Gaming event in London in February.

He said: “At ICE we will launch the next major addition to our sportsbook service. While we will not make any public announcements until February, we will gladly discuss it with operators that are interested to know more.”
