[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he leading iGaming solutions developer, Greentube, has confirmed it will be partnering with the Prairie Island Indian Community to create a social casino platform for the Tribe’s Treasure Island Resort & Casino.

Treasure Island is a Minnesota-based resort and the new online platform will make it one of the first casinos in the state to offer a digital gaming platform which provides a similar range of slots and games to the land-based resort.

Commenting on Treasure Island’s new social casino platform, Shelley Buck, Prairie Island Tribal Council President, said: “Online gaming has exploded in recent years so it’s a natural shift for Treasure Island Resort & Casino to extend our games to guests outside of the walls of our casino. The new online gaming platform we’re rolling out early next year includes an unparalleled user experience that engages players with our brand on and off the casino floor, amplifying our social impact and reach.”

Greentube – a subsidiary of the Novomatic Group – confirmed that the social platform is expected to be live during the first quarter of 2017 and will be powered by the company’s private-label social casino marketing platform Greentube Pro.

The Treasure Island Resort & Casino platform will be available across all platforms and devices and will mark Greentube’s second partnership with a tribally-owned casino.

“The Prairie Island Indian Community and Greentube share values focused on innovation and customer experience,” said Gabriel Cianchetto, President of market development for Greentube North America. “We are proud to partner with Prairie Island to offer its players a first-in-class social gaming platform and to assist Treasure Island in reaching a new but complementary demographic of gamers.”

Treasure Island’s platform will create a customized look and feel that reflects the physical appearance of the resort and casino which will be designed by Greetube’s subsidiary, BlueBat Games.

Greentube claim that the new virtual casino will aim to attract the millennial demographic and will offer in-game marketing capabilities via players mobile devices linked to shopping, socializing, and more.

Cianchetto added: “Our first priority will be to create an extraordinary platform that reflects the spirit of Treasure Island Resort & Casino. We’ll look to Blue Bat Games to replicate many of the real-life experiences on the Treasure Island floor and keep their players engaged.”
