EWS has been supporting Fifa in its efforts to stamp out corruption in football since 2006.

Our new agreement with EWS at group level, is the continuation of the excellent cooperation we have established since 2008, when Intralot subsidiary ‘Betting Company’ joined EWS’ international network of partners.

Socrates Kokkalis, deputy chief executive of Intralot, said: “Our new agreement with EWS at group level, is the continuation of the excellent cooperation we have established since 2008, when Intralot subsidiary ‘Betting Company’ joined EWS’ international network of partners.

“Transparency and integrity are Intralot’s core values and we are very proud to be part of a global alliance that actively safeguards them.”

Meanwhile, Intralot is to become a premium sponsor of the Italian national team in a deal that runs through to the end of 2018.

Intralot will work with the FIGC on a series of initiatives, such as social and youth projects and combating issues that can affect the integrity of the sport.
