To cope with surging visitor numbers, the London Affiliate Conference will relocate to ExCel Conference Centre – the same venue as ICE – for its February 2017 event.
[dropcap]L[/dropcap]ondon Affiliate Conference, one of the most high-profile events on the calendar for gaming affiliates, will be upgrading to a bigger venue in 2017 to accommodate more visitors than ever before.
Next year’s event will be moved from the Olympia to the ExCel Conference Centre, adding extra convenience for conference delegates attending ICE in the same venue.
More than 5,000 delegates are expected to attend the tenth edition of LAC, representing a ten percent rise from the 4,555 who secured a space at the 2016 show.
According to organisers, the venue switch will give delegates an opportunity to vastly increase the size of their stands, as well as offering a seamless switch-over for visitors of ICE, which ends the same day the LAC begins.
“Since 600 delegates gathered for the inaugural event in 2007, LAC has grown exponentially to become the most important date on the global iGaming affiliate calendar,” commented Shona McDonnell, head of operations at iGaming Business and one of the show’s organisers.
“To keep up with demand, we needed a larger venue and the ExCel in London is a perfect fit. It will be familiar to most in the industry as the home of ICE, and the extra space will allow us to create new feature areas and improve the overall experience for all delegates.”
