The 8th edition of the Malta iGaming Seminar (MiGS) will introduce an employee award ceremony, iGaming Idol, to promote employees working in the Maltese iGaming community.
The awards event will be the first of its kind in the iGaming industry and is aimed at recognising individuals in every sector of an iGaming operation. Employers or colleagues will be able to nominate outstanding individuals working within an iGaming company who will then have to prove themselves in front of a panel of expert judges.
Jeffrey Buttigieg, director of MiGS and the COO of RE/MAX Malta, announced the event during a press conference with Joseph Cuschieri, the Malta Gaming Authority executive chairman.
Buttigieg said: “We are delighted to host the 8th edition of the Malta iGaming Seminar, a seminar which started as a local event aimed at educating foreign investors to relocate to Malta and now has become an international event where delegates and speakers converge to discuss, network and debate regulatory gaming policy, latest trends and technology of the global gaming industry.”

Buttigieg added that the event will be hosted by iGaming veteran AJ Thompson, as well as two of the world’s leading experts in Global Gaming, Michael Caselli and Sue Schneider.
MiGS16 will be spread over a three-day programme covering topics from regulatory and taxation to eSports, virtual currencies and block chain, player retention and many more.
