Prima Networks, powered by Microgaming, has received Class II licences from Romania’s gambling regulator, Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN).
The licences cover the manufacture and distribution of specialised gaming software and game platform management and hosting facilities and can also be used to supply poker and fully hosted casino solutions.
A number of domestic and .com operators are now preparing to take Microgaming’s Quickfire live in Romania, the platform supporting hundreds of games on desktop and mobile.
Romania will be an important market for us, so we are delighted to have secured the necessary licences to supply content there.
