Games testing laboratory NMi has announced a fourth successful run at the Canada Gaming Summit in Ontario during what has been an exceptionally busy period of the company.
Despite unprecedented demand for certification services in Europe, on the back of being the first approved lab in Romania, NMi is maintaining its focus on Canada as a key growth market.
Following on from a successful iGaming Supershow and Gaming in Holland at the start of the month, representatives of the games testing laboratory attended the Summit from 13-15 June at the Ottawa Convention Centre, Canada.
With the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) moving to the acceptance of testing from independent labs this year demand has never been stronger
Andrew Rosewarne, NMI’s director of gaming, said: “Since starting work with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation and Loto-Québec in 2013 NMi has seen Canada grow as a viable market for suppliers to the provincial lotteries, and with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) moving to the acceptance of testing from independent labs this year demand has never been stronger.
“With knowledgeable regulators providing clear requirements to developers and labs, for us, the Canadian provinces are business as usual destinations and we invite our customers to ask about how we leverage past testing into Canadian approvals.”
