Sky Racing World has signed a new contract to provide the Brazilian market with Australian horse races to be wagered on in South America.
In a partnership with the Spanish group, Codere, the US based provider of international horse racing content to the Americas and a subsidiary of the Australian firm Tabcorp will provide Codere’s new ADW brand with live streaming of Australian races.
Sky Racing World already provides over 70 US facing operators, and 425 retail outlets in North America with live streaming of thoroughbred racing events in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. By teaming up with Codere it will have access to its other brands including the Jockey Club Rio Grande do Sul, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and the Rio de Janeiro-based Jockey Club Brasileiro.
“Our partnership with Codere allows South American horse racing bettors to wager for the first time on Australian races, which as in the US and North America, will diversify their choice rather than competing with the domestic racing schedule,” said David Haslett, president and CEO of Sky Racing World.
