Taking up its traditional place at the social hub of ICE, Microgaming will be looking back over its 2015 achievements while ushering in a new generation of omni-channel gaming content.
Located at the core of the ExCeL Centre, the Microgaming Stand (N5-220) is in prime position to draw the crowds, and the company has plenty up its sleeve for this year’s exhibition. Its market-leading products and best of breed content will be on show on a range of devices – desktop, mobile, land-based and wearables – showcasing its omni-channel capabilities. The company will also be recharging attendees with freshly brewed coffee and snacks at the popular Microgaming Bar, the social networking hub of the show, located next door to the stand (N5-120).
2015 was a very successful year for Microgaming and ICE presents the perfect opportunity for the company to look back at its achievements. Taking pride of place on Microgaming’s stand will be the awards the company won in the past 12 months, including two eGR Awards for poker, and two Global Gaming Awards: Digital Gaming Innovation of the Year for VR Roulette and Digital Product of the Year for Jurassic Park online slot. In addition, the software giant will be celebrating its recent Guinness World Records achievement for the ‘Largest jackpot payout in an online slot machine game’. Microgaming proudly holds the title after a lucky UK Betway player took home £13.2m (equivalent of €17,879,645.12) from a 25p bet on Mega Moolah in October 2015.
Building on 2015’s successes, Microgaming will be announcing several key signings and deals in the build up to the show. The company continues to grow aggressively year-on-year with an unparalleled customer base of over 380 brands live with its software and games. And that number will continue to rise in 2016.
Finally, in keeping with the ICE 2016 Technopolis theme, one of Microgaming’s focuses for this year’s show is emerging and future technology. The company will be providing attendees with the opportunity to step into the future and experience what lies ahead for the industry. Having brought a seven metre long animatronic dinosaur and a Game of Thrones green screen experience to ICE in recent years, naturally expectations are high – and according to MIcrogaming, visitors won’t be disappointed.
